Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189):

Skill Migration is one of the most common pathways for Australian migrants. No investment, employer sponsorship and business are required under this stream. Subclass 189 does not require state nomination.

• Be able to score 65 points or more**

• Have competent English (IELTS 6 all band)

Skilled Nominated Visa (Subclass 190):

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491):

Subclass 491 Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa is a 5 years temporary visa. To be eligible for subclass 191 Permanent Residence (Skilled Regional) visa, the applicant is required to obtain a full time employment with annual salary above AUD53,900 for more than 3 years (Can be irrelevant to nominated occupation).

Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Visa (Subclass 491):

Depending on the applicant’s skill and working experience, the applicant is eligible for this permanent visa if an employer sponsorship is obtained. No point test is required in this subclass. A applicant who meets eligibility of subclass 186 visa will be eligible.

Eligibility:

• Aged under 45 when the applicant is invited to apply

• Have a suitable skill assessment  

• Have competent English (IELTS 6 all band)

• Have more than 3 years experience in nominated occupation
